Photo Skills Development

Photo Skills Development

An important aspect of our club is the encouragement and development of new photography skills and techniques for all our club members.

We learn from each other, through the provision of basic skills tutorials, formal technique evenings, technical showcases from expert photographers and through constructive comment and assessment in our competition judging.

March 1st - Review of images from Western Counties Photographic Federation members

November 1st - Launceston Camera Club Critique Evening at Holsworthy

December 6th - Edward Humphries Histriological Competition

We hope that by attending these sessions and by seeing our colleagues images, we can be inspired to go out and try to achieve similar photos for ourselves.

Please note that following a resolution at the 2009 AGM, in order to facilitate the provision of full year accounts the Club's next AGM will take place on February 7th 2011.
